Ligature, 2021

Lighthouse Works
Fishers Island, New York

Ligature (2021) is a two person exhibition with artist, Zachary Fabri, previously on view at the US-based artist residency Lighthouse Works in Fishers Island, NY. The exhibition consisted of six photographs alongside a variety of sculptures. Portal Puddle I, pictured adjacent, is one of five puddles made of biodegradable epoxy, flotsam, and cyanobacteria. The puddles are intended to replicate local aquifers on Fishers which have been contaminated by lawn maintenance chemicals such as nitrogen run off.
